REQUIREMENTS

one reasonable telescope or strength x 10 binoculars

One friend

One long stretch of beach from 3 to 6 miles

Cell phones

+NOTHING MORE.......

(2)..AND/OR A SIMPLE ELECTRICALLY RUN GYROSCOPE

In (1) ... At three miles away your friend will have 6 feet of curvature between him and you. Supposing you are kneeling at 3 feet high then the bottom three feet of your friend will be invisible hidden behind the curvature..

At 6 miles under the same conditions..you kneeling down on the beach with your telescope say three feet above the ground..There will be 24-3=21 feet of curvature. He would need a 12 foot pole held high with a flag on top to be visible.

In (2)...all you need is a long running electrically powered gyro and a table in any room of your house. Start the gyro pointing up and the axis will continue to point up while the earth will be spinning on its axis and also spinning around the sun. Watch as the gyro instead of the axis leaning to one side or the other, as the earth changes its direction, will instead remain pointing up for the duration of the test. A gyro axis remains fixed in space. THE EARTH IS F L A T  flat flat flat flat flat flat!!!!!!!!!!!
