Having Watched some family cog videos I want to make the following observations..

First to be different from the modern day bench warming churches, it was necessary to just doooooo what the early church did..... not introduce free sex...

When I joined the cog in 1972 the churches already hated us, not for our sexual revolution, which was not being propagated then but for Luke 9:33... THE FORSAKE ALL MESSAGE....

That was the clincher and they came up with their excuse for not forsaking all..PAUL MAKING TENTS..

IF MD had just stuck to that, instead of getting into sex outside of marriage..

simple bible word of God stuff...in other words just like how we began in the late 60s and early 70s, 

we would now be the greatest Christian force on the face of our earth...

preaching the gospel on the streets and going into all the world.. provisioning our needs and small donations from witnessing litnessing on our daily faith trips out into the system ....

Meeting hundreds of people daily inviting them not only to ask Jesus to come into their hears but offering them a chance to forsake all and be a full time missionary.

But the idea that every thought that came into his head was somehow from God without balancing it with those precious promises of 2 Peter 1:4, WAS HIS AND OUR DOWNFALL..

NOW WE HAVE COMPOUNDED THE ERROR UNDER ZERBY AND KELLY BY SUBSTITUTING WITNESSING FOR A WISHY WASHY LOVE THAT DOES NOT DRIVE ZERBY OR KELLY or their followers ONTO THE STREETS OF THE WORLD, THOSE HIGHWAYS AND BYWAYS OF THE HURTING SUFFERING HUMANITY BUT INTO A DO NOTHING CHRISTIANITY BY JUST BEING LOVING WITH EACH OTHER AND TO HELL WITH THE LOST BECAUSE IT IS FAR TOO EMBARRASSING TO GO AND TRY AND REACH THEM.

Luke 9:26

"For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.” 

WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR TAKE ON THESE OBSERVATIONS OF MINE....

LOVE THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE JESUS' LOVE FOR THE LOST IS NOT LOVE AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! It is churchy!!!!!!!!!!!!'CHURCHIANITY!!!!!!!!!!
