Who Cares??? and a letter from the Black sheep

Who cares??????

I have just written a letter about the origins of my family and its continuation..
I never knew my father's father and do not even know of his name..Reginald?? He died very young on a ship going out to India..
His only cause for fame was that he had something to do with the promotion and invention and practical application of the Notorious Machine Gun that was used and is still being used to mow down 100s of soldiers at a time rather than one by one with a rifle..
Great!!! Help!!!!
Anyway, if you were to ask any of my dead or alive relations as to whether I was the BLACK SHEEP of the family, they would reply in unison most emphatically...Yes!!!!
Just supposing all my relations had become Captains of Industry, Admirals and Generals in the armed forces, or for that matter any occupation with excellent results....Just imagine at their burial the great eulogies of praise and appreciation being sung out by all present including the C of E padre,,,,,,
In 50 years time.... Who cares???
Answer nobody!!!
OK!! I left out Film stars, Authors and Pop stars, they do have a slightly longer shelf life, but soon they too are largely forgotten and disappear into oblivion..
It's all forgotten!!!!
Like a puff of smoke or a vaporous cloud, they were there for a moment and now they are gone...and forgotten....
Just about everything good that I learn is from Father Bob of www.wordonfire.org
He brings this point out over and over again...
The only really interesting point would be as follows...
Did they live their lives connected in a real personal way to their Creator, Jesus Christ who gave Himself for all of us???
Did they do that and did they pass this on to others?
Was this the driving force in their lives???
If it was theirs and if it is yours, then we will meet again in eternity, otherwise????????
We can just hope and pray for the Mercy of God that somehow our prayers will get them in..
We should try!!!
I pray every day for all my relations and ancestors... Do you??
What is so important in your life, that keeps you away from Your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and His awesome Mother and our Mother too, Mary?????
I love the Rosary prayer because every session one prays the following, and pay particular attention to the great reminder at the end which we repeat 50 times just to rub it in good and hard.
“Hail Mary!! Full of Grace!!! The Lord is with you!! Blessed are you amongst women and Blessed is the fruit of your womb, JESUS!!!
Holy Mary Mother of God!!!
Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death!”
My death is the end of the world for me...
I do not need to worry about His second coming...
He is coming for me soon enough at the end of my life...
Let's all be prepared for that inevitable moment....
By loving and obeying HIM to the very best of our ability...
And passing Him on to others...After all, HE IS THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE!!!!
THERE IS NO OTHER answer to all of life's trials and problems!!!

A letter to my surviving relatives!

From....THE BLACK SHEEP OF THE FAMILY...
THE KING FAMILY!!!
Who are the King family???
My uncle Michael Reginald George King had one son Peter...I know very little about him as I last met him when I was 14 years old.. If he is still alive, he lives in Australia and would be 5 to 6 years older than me..Pushing 80
Children??? No idea....
Then there was my Father Rodney Stuart King.
He had 2 sons... Me and my Brother Bill...William Rodney Stuart King..
Bill tragically drowned in a sailing Accident on May the 5th 1954 and so really the only surviving King to preserve the line so to speak was BLACK SHEEP me..
By my first marriage, I had 2 sons, Nicholas William and Alexander Pietro.
By my third marriage I have Mikey, (Michael Phillip King) and David King..
I am leaving out all the females because as you know they are not responsible for maintaining the King family line.
They marry and obtain other names from their spouses.
Now in the eyes of the world, and in the eyes of my many cousins and remaining children and relatives, Yes!!! I am very much the black sheep.
Why?
Because I was far from normal.. What the world calls normal!!!!
In 1965, I discovered the meaning of life and why we are here.
I found Jesus Christ!!
THIS WAS A VERY BIG FIND!
I began to clearly see that He was my Creator..
He was and is the Great I AM that I AM!
He has always been around and without HIM there would be nothing.... absolutely nothing....
My first wife was really unable to see the significance of this find and sadly she aborted our fifth child...Maybe another King boy????
With her eyes on preserving normality, she was helped greatly by my so called normal parents who thought I was just another religious nut, and had her tubes tied and thus became self imposed Barren!
For me that was the last straw!!!
There was no other girl that I had in mind but there was this amazing FIND...JESUS CHRIST...
If he was worth following, He was worth following all the way!!
Like the early Christians found out and many since then, He was and is the meaning of it all.
He could not be neglected. In my book, and in His Book, the Bible, He had to be taken very very seriously...
That is why I am writing to you!! And to her!! And to my second wife who also wanted to be normal and to my normal cousins and relatives and children..
I have 12 children in all..

Now there are an assortment of cousins who may or may not still be alive.
There is Normal Chips, the brother of Normal or really not so normal John Aspinal.
JA died some years ago and was famous for his very false conception that Humans could bond to Bengal Tigers.
He had lots of cash made from Gambling and was able to not prove his point after a series of fatal accidents to his Zoo keepers, where the bonding illusion failed miserably.
Felicity, Ian, Jaffray, Ken, Guy who dies of a strange flu and was married to a pretty lady called Peggy, Jennifer, Carol, Peter, James, all NORMAL, may or may not still be alive..Susan and Midge, the children of Brian and Melba, who must be dead by now, Band M I mean...
It is worth noting at this point that all this Normality lasts for a very short time and then is very quickly forgotten...
In terms of Eternity and even as one friend BoBo said in 50 years time, it's all over and largely forgotten.
Now I have to hastily add, that I pray on a daily basis for all my relations and ancestors and especially for my Grandfather Clement Horn who was definitely a Christian.
Well!!! Yes!!!! I have made some terrible mistakes... Very terrible by NORMAL standards and even terrible by spiritual standards.
BUT I HAVE NOT MADE THE MISTAKE OF TURNING MY BACK ON JESUS CHRIST...
THERE ARE TWO OTHERS WHO HAVE NOT MADE THIS MISTAKE...
