AIR LINE PILOT STATES TO ME ON THE TRAIN ..NO CURVATURE VISIBLE WHILE FLYING

No sign of any curvature. Today I spoke to an airline captain pilot on the train."have you ever noticed any curvature on the earth's surface?" He relied with an emphatic "No!" The horizon is always flat and rises up to eye level.. There is no looking down...over a curve in the earth even at 35,000 feet
