TO DO OUR JOB !!!!!!!!!!!!!

TO DO OUR JOB of going out every day to talk to the visitors and locals that gather around the centre of Cologne, definitely takes an anointing.

It's hard to explain what an anointing is...like the old simple Christian lady who was asked this question and replied "I don't know what it is but I sure know what it ain't!!!!!!!!!"

As we rely on a daily donation rate of around 50€ a day it is definitely not only a great spiritual opportunity to talk to people about Jesus Christ but it is also very financial too. 

If HE does not pay us for our job we are sunk. 

Financially our books would not balance. 

BUT THE AMAZING MIRACULOUS THING IS...HE DOES, ......COME HAIL, SNOW, OVERBEARING HEAT, IN FACT IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES HE DOES.. and has done for fifty years....

Of course there are tests.. Every day there are tests..it's never or very rarely plain sailing like a "soldiers wind" when you set the sails and the course and can pretty much go to sleep.

It is desperately exciting and nerve racking too and no two days are the same.

Before starting out we are always, and I mean always, SCARED of failure. We are always looking for ways to delay the starting process.. A cup of coffee or a snack before biting the seeming sower Apple.

Funnily enough the successes of the previous day do not help us to have faith. They seem to be totally forgotten and our brains don't really register them so every day is brand spanking NEW, like a freshly minted coin.

Today we will be taking our approximately 1200th passage through Cologne central station and it is while we walk through that we tell the Lord..something like this....

"Here we are Jesus....please help us....we cannot do this without YOU!!! Please anoint us for the job and please protect us too from the attacks of unpleasant people and over zealous authorities who are definitely not in love with YOU Jesus!!"

And so we begin..."Excuse me! Have you heard the good news????"

"Do you know that Jesus loves you??" And off we go......

In the back of our mind we keep repeating a kind of a mantra which says..."IF YOU WITNESS, YOU ALWAYS WIN!!!!"

Well what do we win??

The approval of God for spreading His Good News..

Souls for His kingdom..

Opportunity to listen to people's. Problems...and try hard to give them God' answers from His Word. 

Much needed small cash donations...

We have two very good tracts, one in colour illustrating the four main events in Jesus' life..and of course our hand and home made coloured Rosaries..

The colour brochure had on the left five small pictures, with bible verses attached, surrounding his birth...then five pics surrounding His ministry...then five pics of his crucifixion...and then five pics of his resurrection..

We could send this to you if you write us and please too give a small donation to cover the postage and maybe too to contribute to our ministry and then we have another tract with our address. Telephone number email etc and even our bank account details...

In the three and one half years of going to Cologne daily, we have distributed approximately 10,000 of the colour brochure accompanied by a coloured wooden home made Rosary and 50,000 of the small brochure with our address and a simple salvation message to ask Jesus to come into their hearts...

So there you have it...After three to four hours, we are pleasantly exhausted and catch our train home where we then spend a further two to three hours putting together replacement rosaries.

Thank you for praying for us and supporting this work..IRMGARD and I get no pension as we have not continually paid into a pension fund and instead rely totally on HIM  and  HIM using dear YOU..

I also think that being active on a daily basis helps to keep me alive and pretty fit even though hopelessly overweight at nearly 77 on November 22 in a few months time, I have absolutely no excuse to be anything but super duper thankful😀

IT WONT BE LONG NOW..WORLD EVENTS ARE SPEEDING UP AND HE WILL BE COMING BACK VERY SOON.. JUST TRUST IN HIM..SAY...PRAY...THANK HIM by saying ."JESUS I TRUST IN YOU!!!" That will make Him very happy.. He just loves to be trusted..

Hebrews ch 11:6 

He will never let you down and the great thing is that HE LOVES YOU JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.. NOT THE WAY YOU THINK YOU SHOULD BE AND CANNOT ATTAIN, OR THE WAY HE WANTS YOU TO BE,  BUT JUST THE WAY YOU ARE TODAY IN WHATEVER STATE.... That is really good news !!! Don't you think so????
