Just a little update on our crazy crusader daily expeditions to Cologne every day...

Mikey David Jazmine and Natasha are making their way in London with jobs to pay their expenses and are still going to studios to make music.

Angela is in Beverlyhills with her husband in California.. They are all learning lessons.. I can't say that any of them are really doing well and I'm sure you know that the very rich are some of the unhappiest people in the world. Jemima 17, has a place reserved in the Gymnasium in Wiehl for next year and Michelle 14, is holding her own in the Realschule..

Never a dull moment.. Boy friends come and go and we try to be good parents.. Irmgard is a jewel at dealing with all the inevitable problems and I try my best too...

WHAT AND WHO ARE YOU SUPPORTING IN YOUR PRAYERS..????

Heaven bent on bringing the Gospel of Forgiveness, Mercy, Hope, Faith all rounded up in one word LOVE!!!!!

TWO CRAZY CRUSADERS.....

one....Don Quixote (Michael Jaffray) DQ is pictured as being very thin...not me I am sadly over weight

 

two....Sancho Panza (Irmgard) SP is pictured as being stocky and fat, whereas Irmgard has a very nice figure...

We have both been serving the Lord for a very long time....

Michael 50 years long...

Irmgard 36 years long...

Total 86 years full time service..

This has been on an every day basis.

With no holidays.....

but I can promise you it was not a sacrifice because WE LOVE OUR JOB OF TELLING OTHERS ABOUT JESUS!!!!! AND HIS GREAT LOVE FOR HIS NUMBER ONE CREATION, MANKIND MADE IN HIS OWN IMAGE...!!!!!

Since our marriage in Brazil 32 years ago, the only holidays that we have had was not really a holiday but a glorious 14 dayHitch hiking crossing of the South and North Atlantic on a container ship, (THE TRANSOCEANICA SILVIA) from Santos Brazil to Genoa Italy..

A free ride, living in the hospital...no other patients...TTL!!!!

and sitting down to gorgeous Italian cooking at the Captain's table for three meals a day..with wine as promised in Isaiah 50:1.

Then a short stay in Germany and then hitch hiking to Port Sudan with our first free ride coming from a driver at a gas station just outside Nuerenberg. 

This took about six weeks travelling in cars, trucks and even a tractor through Yugoslavia and Greece and then Rhodes and then Cyprus and then Israel and then Egypt and ending up at the Red Sea port of PORT SUDAN...

HERE GOD PARTED THE RED SEA FOR US AND WE BECAME THE ONLY PEOPLE EVER TO HITCH A FREE RIDE FROM THAT HOTTEST PART OF THE WORLD..NO RAIN FOR THREE YEARS....TO SINGAPORE ON A PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL LINES (P.I.L.)CHINESE OWNED CARGO VESSEL WITH AN ALL INDIA CREW OF OFFICERS AND SAILORS.(as I was born in India,I felt very much at home)

All this was done by a simple trusting faith in Jesus Christ and His promises from the Holy Bible....

WE HAD TO TRUST HIM NOT. JUST EVERY DAY, OR EVERY WEEK OR MONTH, BUT EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY...

Before we left Santos Brazil we were claiming the following crazy promise from HIS WORD 

Isaiah 55:1King James Version (KJV)

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath NO MONEY..no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without MONEY and without price.

We did not spend money...we had no money starting out with 100 Marks about 50$..... We witnessed all the way using a simple missionary salvation tract, AND THEN ASKING PEOPLE IF THEY WOULD LIKE YO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS OUR MISSIONARY OUTREACH.

We ended up with over 3000$ to hand in to our mission in Bombay approx four months later.

 Now we have been in Germany for eight years..I had my 70th birthday soon after arriving in The Gummersbach area of North Rhine West Falen. 

Every day we would take our simple Jesus loves you literature to all of the small towns and villages in that area..

We did this for three years and now we have been going every single day without any breaks to COLOGNE frequented by tourists from all over the world, visiting the shrine of the THREE WISE MEN in the famous Dom Cathedral.

AS WE SPEAK A SMATTERING OF MANY LANGUAGES, we are able to communicate with the many foreigners who frequent this popular shrine, so in effect, we are reaching the whole world without having to visit countries..

At 77&1/2 fast approaching 80, let me tell you our approximate witnessing statistics..for the past 4 years in Cologne...

Every day on average we talk to about 30 people each with a message of ..."Do you know that Jesus loves you?" And if they allow us much we tell them much more and listen to their many problems..

All these people receive gospel literature with a simple salvation prayer to ask Jesus to come into their heart. 

Many share their problems and we PRAY with them there and then on the street..in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit..

We have given out over 12,000 home made wooden Rosaries...

Distributed approx 100,000 pieces of Gospel literature....

And the small donations received balance our books faithfully at the end of every month...Not too much and not too little...This is a real proof to the existence of a very loving God who cares for us all far above what we can imagine..

Ephesians chapter 3 verse 20

AND NOW UNTO HIM THAT IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE COULD ASK OR THINK..
